The best advice I can give in that situation (and it applies to any eRA software solution, not just to Cayuse) is to use the opportunity to rethink your processes, policies, and procedures. Don’t just try to automate what you’ve always done, in the specific way(s) you’ve done it: think of the processes, policies, and procedures you’d like to have, and that would make everybody’s life better, and implement/automate those.

Oakland University resides on the ancestral, traditional, and contemporary lands of the Anishinaabe, known as the Three Fires Confederacy, composed of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi. The land was ceded in the 1807 Treaty of Detroit and makes up southeast Michigan.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Transitioning to Cayuse

We are currently in the process of transitioning to Cayuse’s Sponsored Projects software. For those of you who use the software, is there anything we should know before we start using it? Anything you wish you’d done from the beginning? Any advice in general?

Or any complaints? 😊

Thank you for your knowledge,

Michelle
