Boise State University's Office of Sponsored Programs is hiring a Research Administration Coordinator on our Pre-Award team.
The Research Administration Coordinator role comprises the following activities:
- Assist with daily activities including budget development, budget justifications, preparing current and pending reports, and finalizing post-submission proposal documentation.
- Assist with preparation of budget modifications to grants and contracts, revision of proposal budgets, changes in principal investigator, continuations, and supplemental funding requests.
- Review for compliance with sponsor guidelines and University policies and procedures.
- Complete data-entry and uploads of proposal documents and budgets into deadline-driven application packages and online portals.
- Manage the Pre-Award team email by serving as the primary point-of-contact for general questions and new proposal inquiries. The Research Administration Coordinator responds or forwards to appropriate OSP staff.
- Review funding agency publications and help to determine institutional and/or principal investigator eligibility.
- Assist the Pre-Award Manager in management of the data and reporting of Pre-Award activities.
- Manage the Pre-Award submissions calendar and help to assign incoming proposals to Research Administrators.
- Assist in the submission of proposals, supplements, and just-in-time reports.
This is a hybrid work/flexible work position with one day a week onsite at our campus in Boise, Idaho. The posting closes on May 16.
