You all are saying they can’t do staff meetings and departmental required tasks as if that’s a detriment to them going 100% effort on a grant.

Good morning,
I know that it’s best practice not to commit PI effort 100% to grants as a range of “other” activities are unallowable. I’m getting a lot of pushback from a PI who’d like to see a list of all the things he can’t/shouldn’t do if he’s committed
100% effort on grants.
Also if any of you have policies prohibiting the 100% or mandating a minimum set aside of effort and you are willing to share, I’d appreciate it.
