The American Heart Association has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Government Grants Administration to join our Office of Funded Programs team!

This position can be remote/home based.

The Director, Government Grants Administration will lead the government grants administration team, responsible for managing the pre-award and post-award activities for a highly complex and diverse government grants portfolio. The portfolio includes grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and subawards funded by federal, state, local agencies, and pass-through entities. The Director and team will provide pre-award consultation during the proposal development process and facilitate the review/ approval of proposal submissions. They will oversee and provide post-award management to ensure compliance with sponsor and internal guidelines, budgetary appropriateness, and compliance of grant and contract awards to applicable governmental guidelines.
