The Contract Manager provides day-to-day management and oversight of the Office of Research Support and Operations (ORSO) Contracts Group, which gives specialized support for the preparation, review, and negotiation of complex funding
agreements (e.g. industry-sponsored projects, FAR contracts, and international contracts) and non-monetary research contracts and provides support to the Office of Commercialization through the review of option and license agreements and the monitoring of
existing agreements for contractual compliance. The Contract Manager monitors team performance and work quality; standardizes and documents processes and performance expectations; develops and conducts staff training; and serves as a member of the ORSO leadership
team. This position serves as a subject matter expert on research contracting arrangements.
