JOB DESCRIPTION

innovation in Northern Virginia and beyond.
The Office of Research at Inova (ORI) Office of Sponsored Research Programs (OSRP) is responsible for
all contracts committing Inova resources (facilities, employees' time, etc.) for research purposes. The OSRP is seeking a Program Manager Sr to prepare, negotiate and process research-related contracts, including contract language review, legal coordination
and ad-hoc projects associated with new contracts, renewals and amendments. Types of agreements include, but are not limited to, clinical trial agreements, investigator agreements, confidentiality disclosure agreements, grants, Subawards, and material/data
transfer agreements. Position requires establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal research teams and external research collaborators. Coordinates with clinical research teams, Inova’s Office of General Counsel and external counsel.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will demonstrate communication, collaboration, partnerships and key community involvement to ensure excellent programs for customers and the community. To help achieve our mission,
you will effectively plan, develop, implement and evaluate budget. Managing the program in order to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency including development, organization, marketing and implementation of programs is of vital importance. Your ability
to manage and retain staff with a commitment to excellence, qualified workforce, rounding, effective communication, staff development and rewards/recognition is essential. Demonstrating excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and team building
skills in order to build a world-class team is expected. Showcasing leadership and expertise in the management of quality improvement processes, compliance, consultation and mentoring of others is required.
