Under general supervision of Conflicts of Interest Review and Management Director (COI Office), responsible for effective interpretation and monitoring of the Georgia Board of Regents’ policies regarding conflicts of interest (COI), the University of Georgia’s (UGA) COI policies, Georgia laws, and federal regulations, and employee codes of conduct related to conflict of interest to ensure the University and employee compliance. The Compliance Officer/Professional will review faculty and staff financial disclosures for potential conflicts of interest and make an initial determination (based on a review of relevant policy/regulation) as to whether a potential conflict exists.  The person in this position will support development of training and education programs on all relevant conflict of interest areas.  This position will track changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting the business and assist in implementing policies and procedures meant to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations
