It had originally been all ever, but given the page limitation that was going to have a disparate impact on older investigators so it got changed to all current. At least that is my understanding.

Dear Colleagues,
Can you give some insight on how you are interpreting NIH’s seemingly conflicting guidance for section B. Positions, Scientific Appointments and Honors of the biosketch due on or after 1/25/2022?

The SF424 Forms G guidance states: List in reverse chronological order all
current positions and scientific appointments both domestic and foreign, including affiliations with foreign entities or governments.

NOT
OD-21-073 states: List in reverse chronological order all positions and scientific appointments both domestic and foreign, including affiliations with foreign entities or governments.

The sample of a compliant NIH biosketch posted
here appear to include all positions, including past positions, but the instructions on that same page list
current.
·
The
FAQs have this question but it is only partly answered and does not explicitly exclude past positions, just that the current must be included.
So how are you all interpreting this? Are you including all positions or just current positions?
