Sponsored Research Accounting Analyst
The Office of Finance & Treasury at Princeton University seeks an analyst to join our Sponsored Research Accounting team. The SRA Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the mission
of the Sponsored Research Accounting department by ensuring financial compliance of the University’s sponsored research expenditures, which exceeded $300 million in FY20.
This position is responsible for managing a complex portfolio of sponsored awards for assigned academic departments and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, sponsors’ award agreements and University policies. This position
is responsible for performing essential duties including interpreting contract language for proper contract and bill plan setup in the PeopleSoft 9.2 Grants Management system, responding to inquiries from the University’s grants community and external sponsors,
reviewing costs for compliance, certifying financial reports and timely completing the award closeout process.
This position will leverage data analysis to help identify process improvements for increased operational efficiency as well as perform certain duties with a high degree of independence and accuracy.
Manager, Sponsored Research Accounting
The Office of Finance & Treasury at Princeton University seeks finance professional to join our Sponsored Research Accounting management team. The Manager, Sponsored Research Accounting
(SRA), Administration plays a leading role in the SRA department and its responsibility to perform the central office post award accounting and financial administration functions for the University’s sponsored awards, which exceeded $300 million in sponsored
research expenditures for FY20.
The position provides post award management and administrative oversight of the University’s sponsored awards which include monitoring contract set-up in PeopleSoft 9.2 Grants Module, approving financial -reports, and responding to
internal and external customers, and directly supporting a small portfolio of grants. This position will respond to late cost transfer journals, analyze exception reports for cost allowability and lead trainings for the academic grants community and SRA staff.
The Manager, SRA Administration manages a team of SRA Analysts, Administration who are responsible for performing essential day to day operations that include monitoring an assigned
portfolio of sponsored awards, setting up and maintaining contracts and bill plans in PeopleSoft 9.2 Grants Module, and providing problem resolution and support to internal and external customers.
This position will work closely with the other Manager, SRA Cash Management and Administration in supporting the operational efficiency and compliance to regulatory requirements.
