Greetings!

 

We just received a request from a federal agency to use a credit card to pay for supplemental work to an existing project they are funding.  Their rationale is that the supplemental work is under the micro-purchase threshold so they are required to do it this way.  (We currently have a Cooperative Agreement with this entity.)

 

Does your institution accept credit card payments from sponsors?

 

If so, how do you handle the credit card fees?  Are they built in to the project cost?

 

Any advice would be appreciated!
