The University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking a highly qualified Senior Grants & Contracts Administrator – Office of Research AdministrationThis integral position within the Office of Research Administration facilitates the development and submission of proposals for research funding, reviews grant awards and contracts, and manages the set up and monitoring of grants and contracts for research funding.  An outstanding candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in grants and contracts administration, preferably in a higher education setting; will have experience with Department of Defense, Department of Energy,  NASA, NIH and NSF in addition to other sponsors; will have experience with complex contract terms and conditions and FAR/DFAR clauses;  will have strong experience with multi-year budgets, separately priced tasks, cost share, and the use of indirect cost rates; and will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
