We are looking at a complexity score but for other purposes. I would wonder if you have already in place checklists for types of positions that could lend some detail to an intake form or forms.

Dear Colleagues,

We are considering using a proposal intake form at our university to help get a better understanding of the complexity of each grant at the beginning of the process. This form would includes items such as is there cost share, sub recipients, etc.  I was wondering if any of you use/have used proposal intake forms and if so did you find them helpful? Were there any drawbacks to using them?
