All,
Our institution is bringing on a new PRE AWARD specialist March 2. While we’ve hired new employees before we do not have a strong (or formal) training plan that introduces them to all of the regs, rules, procedures, policies, and practices.
We joke that it’s baptism by fire…. I’m trying to develop a document(s) – maybe a powerpoint with accompanying documents that will ease the pain for our new colleague and for those of us who will be helping to train/mentor. Even if it just helps organize
and check off tasks as we train/complete/become proficient….
Does anyone have something they would be willing to share???? Obviously, internal procedures will differ but I would appreciate anything you would be willing to share.
