Ashley,

When I worked in 'grant world,' we entered OSCs information on the Key Personnel form, selected the role of 'other' and put in Other Significant Contributor. This required that their biosketch would also be uploaded. There was always a letter of support  which was uploaded under the appropriate section of the Research Plan tab.

We did not add OSCs to the budget.

Hello, we have a PI who is applying for an NIH grant and he is working with individuals who are acting as “advisors” or by definition of NIH “Other Signification Contributors”.  They are not receiving any funding, but they are assisting in an advisory role to the research and work.  I know that biosketches are required for OSC’s so I am wondering this.  In grants.gov workspace – where should these individuals be listed?  From researching, it seems like if they are listed under the Research and Related Senior/Key Person Profile Form – then they should be expected to have more than zero months effort.  However, I am not sure I see anywhere else in the application pages to list them, or to upload their biosketches.  Any thoughts/knowledge of where these individuals should go?
