The primary role of the Research Advancement (RA) staff is to support research funding in the School of Life Sciences by means of assisting in proposal preparation by faculty, identifying proposal opportunities, etc., as outlined in more
detail below. Research Advancement staff also serve as liaisons across campus between colleges, schools, departments and research investigators in their interactions with the Office of Research and Sponsored Project Administration (ORSPA).
