The use of big data, analytics, and business intelligence tools has exploded over the last five to ten years. These tools help organizations make better decisions by using the data and information we all collect. The strategic use of data analytics to drive growth and innovation is a powerful tool. But has the field of Research Administration kept up pace with this innovation?

Along with a colleague from the University of Kentucky we would like to learn more about how the field of Research Administration is using data analytics and business intelligence tools to help inform decision making, promote growth, and innovation within the field. This study has been approved by the University of Kentucky IRB and we hope you will participate.
