Yes.  I have receive it before as well.  It is just a warning and not an error.  If your budget is over then don’t worry about it.  I think they just put it in as a reminder.

Good Morning,

 

I submitted a R01 this morning and received the following warning:

 

WARNING

RR_Budget

An application with a direct cost request of $250K or less for each period should use the PHS 398 Modular Budget. (020.52.1)

 

The budget for each year (with a Subrecipient) is over $250K.  I called the help desk and they said to disregard it.  I am getting that in writing from them.  However, I am still concerned as to why the message popped up in the first place.   Has anyone received this warning even when it did not apply?
