Hi,

We are working on an NIH application that will include a local, nonprofit organization as a subaward. This organization has an indirect cost rate that has been negotiated by the Department of Transportation.

Will the NIH accept the DOT negotiated rate or do we have to use the de minimus rate of 10%? We typically only deal with subaward organizations that have rates negotiated by DHHS, so please excuse any ignorance on my part!

Thank you.
