Hello, Baron,

Would you be willing to share your wet-bench matrix with me? My current institution is trying to build some space matrix to provide guidance for space allocation.  I would like to know how other institutions manage space.  Any documents,  such as policy or spreadsheet for calculation, would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Hello,

Our institution will be opening a new multi-disciplinary research building later this summer. The building will house both wet-bench researchers and those who do dry-bench research related to various health disparities. We currently have pretty well established metrics for wet-bench space related to R&D expenditures per square feet. However, it seems more difficult to find metrics or benchmarks related to the dry-lab space.

Does anyone currently calculate metrics in this area for dry-science related research space? Often times this might include the faculty office or space for program managers, etc.

Any assistance would be helpful. Feel free to reply directly to my email (xxxxxx@uky.edu) and I will collect the information I receive and share it with the list.

Thank you, Baron
