I attended the ‘Lost in Translation and Time Zones’ session at the SRAI meeting in Vancouver last October.   The difficulties and differences in negotiations with Qatar were discussed.   Presenters were: Dr Clifton Griffin  xxxxxx@salisbury.edu and Lesley Bell xxxxxx@tamu.edu  If you have exhausted all avenues it may be worth contacting them.

Best,

Ros

Subject: [RESADM-L] Qatar National Research Fdn terms and conditions

Friends,

Has anyone found a way to accept a subaward that incorporates terms from Qatar National Research Foundation? We are about to walk away from this one, but I wanted to check to see if anyone has been successful negotiating with them. Most egregious is intellectual property, but also incorporation of QNRF policies that conflict in some cases with our own.

If so, please get it touch!
