Grant Manager (CCSG).
The only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state of Wisconsin.
This position will manage and provide leadership for large multi-institutional and multi-investigator federal grant programs including the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) $5 million Cancer Center
Support Grant (CCSG) within the UW Carbone Cancer Center. Provide program and administrative leadership, direction to program leaders, and coordination of the CCSG programs. The incumbent participates in strategic planning for the UWCCC and is responsible
for many high-profile projects.
The UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) is a matrix, NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with 300 to 350 UW faculty members from 40+ departments and 10+ UW schools. The UWCCC is the connecting
"hub" of all cancer-related clinical care and research throughout UW Health and UW Madison. The scope of the UWCCC includes 30,000+ cancer patients, 1,000+ support staff and faculty-directed research with funding at approximately $100 million per year.
