Hi Everyone,
Our Advancement Office has a new grants person and she has requested that we send her a recently submitted NEH application for her confidential files. Its status is pending. My office submits and keeps records of all grant proposals submitted, pending and funded and has only shared files outside of our office with the PIs permission. We are a private institution and salaries are not public, so we try to keep budgets as confidential as possible. Besides the duplication of files, does anyone see other reasons that the files should or should not be shared between offices when working collaboratively? This individual did help the PI with proposal development. Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you.
