The Dean’s Office of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks a self-motivated, solutions-oriented, strategic thinker to be a Proposal Manager as part of the college’s research and academic initiatives team. Under direction of the Associate Dean of Research and in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Research Advancement, the proposal manager will work with faculty and staff within and outside of the college to identify and pursue complex, interdisciplinary and/or strategic external funding opportunities.
This position will manage the proposal process by analyzing RFP, RFI, or similar documents; set and articulate clear expectations of proposal objectives; define and assign proposal development responsibilities and timelines; facilitate all proposal team communications; coordinate with lead unit research advancement (RA) staff to ensure all deadlines and quality controls are met; and provide comprehensive writing and editing expertise for proposal documents.
