Hi All,

Some federal agencies allow multiple principal investigators (PI) from a single institution to submit a single proposal (e.g. NIH).  How is your institution reporting the PI activity if there are 2 PIs from within your institution?  How does your institution acknowledge/report the multiple PI activity in terms of proposal & award counts and award $ recognition at the researcher v. college/department v. the institutional levels?   When sharing our researcher/college/department detailed activity to our top-level institutional activity (succinct counts) it creates confusion, so I’d like to benchmark some of your best practices out there.

I look forward to hearing from some of you!
