One of my PI’s will be a Co-PI on Phase 1 SBIR application and a collaborator on SBIR Fast Track application.  I was told budget period 1 for the Phase 1 grant and first phase of the Fast Track to be approximately 6 months in length. If they are awarded the Fast Track, the Phase 2 would be approved at the same time. That would mean a Fast Track approval would include two additional 12 month periods.

It sounds like I will need to submit two applications.  It’s all confusing to me.  I’m not sure how to enter the project period dates in our proposal system.  If someone is familiar with this please respond.

Thanks,

Brenda-
