Hello,

Does anyone have a policy regarding student travel on grants? Do you allow PIs to cover student travel and conference registration when the student in question is not being paid on that project? What about teaching assistants who were research assistants in the summer, for instance, but are no longer being paid from that award? The PI is making the case that the student is presenting at the conference, so it benefits the project.

I would be interested in hearing what other schools do. Thank you!
