Summary:
The Grant and Contract Services Administrator is integral to the success of externally funded research and action programs of the Wellesley Centers for Women by providing support and advice to WCW Research Scientists and Project Directors throughout the proposal/grant lifecycle. The position engages in proposal development and administration, including managing the proposal development timeline and assembling applications, identifying and disseminating funding opportunities, managing proposal and award records in paper and electronic formats, collaborating with post-award administrators to facilitate award set-up, and participating in special projects and initiatives as required.

The position also serves as the IRB Administrator, the primary institutional contact for the U.S. DHHS Office for Human Research Protection. In this role the position is responsible for managing the day to day functions of the Wellesley College Institutional Review Board, providing support to the IRB Chair in ensuring regulatory compliance. The position provides support and guidance to faculty and researchers in meeting their responsibility to protect the rights and welfare of human research subjects.
