At SACHRP's meeting this morning, just minutes ago, OHRP Director Jerry Menikoff gave a 45-second update on the Common Rule rewrite.

He said  there was "not a lot of new news" on the progress, but said "The administration still is moving forward with the proposal to update the Common Rule and [there is] certainly the desire, I'd say by the end of the year, to come out with something. We'll see what happens it terms of that. It's a complicated undertaking, as everybody recognizes. That's about where it's at."
