Hi Megan,

At a minimum, this person should have approval from your IRB and from the research ethics board of the host institution. I would be very careful about allowing an unsupervised student to be the PI on such a study.

Hi all, this question is for our IRB folks.

We have someone who wants to do a study while attending our study abroad program in the UK. Have you encountered this? What special consideration might we need to take?

Thanks,
