We're holding a one-day event called Supporting Team Science on Friday, September 25, 2015 in Light Hall at Vanderbilt University. Its purpose is to bring together folks across the research enterprise to identify and address the ways that we can administratively promote and support interdisciplinary team science.

Full day registration: $30 through 8/28, $50 after 8/28. The full-day registration fee includes lunch, breaks and all materials.

Afternoon tracks only: $20 through 8/28, $30 after 8/28. The afternoon-only registration includes breaks and all materials.

We’ve got more than 30 faculty and staff presenters for this event and we’re also bringing in
Holly Falk-Krzesinski from Elsevier to give two presentations. Presenters will be speaking about the challenges and opportunities of team science at Vanderbilt and presenting best practices we can adopt.

See the draft schedule here.

In the afternoon we'll be holding a series of 20-minute talks on four tracks: departmental/grants management track, clinical research trials track, lab and general compliance track and a generalist track. You'll get some practical examples and best practices that you can take back to the office, clinic or lab and immediately put into action.
