Would you like to save money? And maybe be more successful?
I just now went to Google and searched for <grants for heart disease research>
4th hit in list was a page from Stanford with
PAGES of opportunities. It took me 20 seconds.
The choice might be viewed as:
1)
Bells and whistles and fancy automated profile-based algorithms spitting out a ton of largely irrelevant stuff.
2)
An individual researcher sitting down at a computer and scanning for what really matches his/her interests.
I’d like to see a real comparison of efficiencies for these 2 approaches.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Funding Opportunity Databases
Hi All,
I’m hoping I can get some recommendations on funding opportunity databases. We’ve recently had a trial subscription and tutorial for GrantForward but were not very impressed. I would really appreciate your input/suggestions for other similar
databases.
Many thanks,
