This is done in our pre-award office. The registration contains several reps and certs that the post-award staff are not used to dealing with.

Yes, we submitted last night and got the same email. I wrote to the program, they confirmed the email was automatically generated but in error, and that our application would be processed.
Thanks,

Subject: [RESADM-L] Teacher Quality Partnership Grant - Deadline Extension Glitch?
So I submitted a TQP program grant application this morning and received all the usual Grants.gov emails. Then I received an email from ed.gov that said the application was successfully retrieved from Grants.gov and assigned a PR/Award number but it would not be processed further because the closing date was yesterday (July 14 at 4:30).
On June 27 (via Federal Register notice) this deadline was extended to July 15 at 4:30. I'm assuming (hoping) that Ed just didn't update part of their automated emails. I have called the dept of Ed contact number listed in the email I received and left a voicemail message. I also emailed the general TQP email address (haven't heard back yet). Has anyone else gotten a similar email after submitting since the old deadline?
Thanks.
