Research Services Manager

 

Blood Systems Research Institute (BSRI) in San Francisco is seeking an experienced research administrator to be part of a small, cohesive administrative team that serves 14 investigators and core scientists.  BSRI is an independent non-profit research organization dedicated to advancing transfusion quality worldwide, through scientific research, education and the promotion of evidence-based policies.  In the 50 years since our inception, BSRI has grown from a handful of researchers in the basement of Irwin Memorial Blood Bank to a distinguished institute engaged in research ranging from blood donor epidemiology to cellular therapy to virus discovery.  BSRI is the research arm of Blood Systems, Inc., and is affiliated with, and collaborates closely with the University of California, San Francisco.  Annual budget $13-15 million.

Under limited direction, this position provides support services to all investigators for grant and contract management activities focused on post award.  This position:

·         Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines.

 

Salary range:  $58,950 – $84,000
