Nancy,

The F&A rate should remain the same for the active awards. However as HHS recommended you should contact each sponsor to get their input on how to proceed with the new rate on the current awards. That has been our experience.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Indirect cost rate agreement

Hi,

We just received our indirect cost rate agreement. This agreement lowers our rate retroactive back to 7/1/2012. Do we have to go back and adjust active grants down to the new rate? Has anyone encountered this issue? The person at HHS who negotiated the agreement suggested that we contact each grant officer to see if an adjustment is required?

Any thought/comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
