Hi,

A question has arisen at our Institution, which is a predominantly Bio-Medical Institution,  as to whether Sponsor Research should administer education grants (including federally funded) and any grants that are not bio-medical. Does your institution’s Sponsored Research department handle education grants et al or just bio-medical grants?

Thank you!

Subject: [RESADM-L] Faculty Activity Reporting Tools

Good morning!

My institution is seeking to implement an electronic platform for our Faculty Self Inventory reporting.  This platform will need to incorporate the ability for faculty to log in and update their activities at will and provide administrators and deans with the option to pull data reports from the system.  Our current paper system is outdated and no longer serves that purpose with any ease.

If you are able, will you please send any tools your institution uses for this purpose as well as some feedback on ease of implementation / how well-liked this system is?  I am hoping you collective knowledge will help us to narrow down the appropriate tool!

Thanks in advance for  your time and input – I know you’re probably all running around a bit crazily as the new semester begins!

Most sincerely,
