You may be familiar with the Certified Research Administrator (CRA) Body of Knowledge (BOK) review sessions that Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) has been presenting for several years.  The sessions provide a forum for assessing your knowledge of research administration in the topics included in the BOK and identifying areas where it might be beneficial to study before taking the CRA exam.

A new offering from RACC that you may not have heard about is the Certified Pre-award Research Administrator (CPRA) BOK review session. The content of the CPRA review session focuses on pre-award and also provides a good way to review of your knowledge base before taking the exam.  RACC currently has CPRA review sessions scheduled in September and November.

RACC holds CRA and CPRA review sessions around SRA and NCURA meetings as well as at other locations throughout the country and dates throughout the year.  You can find a list of all scheduled review sessions on RACC’s website http://cra-cert.org/ .

RACC would also be happy to come to your institution to present the CRA and/or CPRA review sessions.  You provide the attendees and perhaps a meeting room and RACC will provide presenters and content.

If you are interested in hosting a review session on your campus or at your institution, please contact Joan Campbell at xxxxxx@cra-cert.org .
