Dear Colleagues—

One of our researchers posed a question to me:  If one were to receive an Administrative Supplement from NIH/NIGMS for work to be performed in the current budget year, would this funding have any impact on future award amounts for the existing grant (e.g., reduction in the next year’s award amount; denial of a request to carry over funds; etc.)?  I’ve been looking through the NIH site, but haven’t found a definitive answer yet.

Thanks in advance!

Laurie Taylor
