Can you force the form to give you a 6th year?
(2)
Do you have any way of adding to the “attachments” section a 6th-year budget without getting automatically penalized?
(3)
Have you sent an email to the DHS program officer documenting your issue and your attempts to resolve it?
(4)
Do you have room in your budget justification to say what the 6th-year costs would be, if you could express them on the form?
Just some possibilities.
Best,
Paul

Subject: [RESADM-L] Grants.gov HELP!
Hi All:
I’m working on a grant application due today at midnight. The funder (Dept. of Homeland Security) allows us to apply for up to six years of funding. The Grants.gov package for this application,
however, only allows me to create five Budget Periods. I am unable to add a sixth Budget Period.
I called Grants.gov and they told me I must speak with DHS directly to resolve the issue. I cannot reach anyone at DHS despite about ten phone calls. Any ideas? If worse comes to worse,
should I combine Budget Period 6 with Budget Period 5 and describe this in the justification?
Thanks
