Check out SRA’s Body of Knowledge.  You have to be an SRA member to access but it’s a great resource!  Thank you, Sandra!

This may be out of scope as to what the folks at Health Research Inc. could provide, but I’ll ask it anyhow.

Any chance we could create a research administration wiki?

It could be the type of space where resources like this could be posted, and folks would be able to provide comments, edits, etc.   I’m thinking of an “open source” approach for some of the common tools and concepts we tackle in our profession.

Maybe SRA or NCURA (or both jointly) would want to host something like this?

Charlie makes an excellent suggestion to post it on the web and provide the listserv with a link.  This way anyone who wants access will have it without having to make a specific request.

Good idea!

I did not notice a section on Cash Management that includes submitting invoices and collection procedures.

and in answer to Spanky's very valid request to minimize the "me toos",  indicate that when finished it will be posted on the list serv with a link.

Subject: [RESADM-L] office procedure manual

Some time ago I posted a query to the list about a comprehensive procedure manual for sponsor programs.  My thanks to everyone who responded with suggestions of resources to draw upon—I’m sorry I can’t thank you by name, mostly because I’ve forgotten who you are.

While I am still working on tidying up some of the loose ends, I thought I’d provide the table of contents to the procedures manual I’ve put together over the last month.  Any suggestions for additions are warmly accepted.
