Subject: [RESADM-L] Faculty Salaries Charged to Sponsored Projects

Does anyone out there have a policy that allows departments and PIs to recover some or all of the general operating funds saved when the PI charges a portion of his or her salary to a sponsored project account?  Here, we call it the Salary Savings Incentive Plan.  I’m actually more interested in the mechanics than the policy itself.  Thanks in advance for the help.
