I need to ask anyone with experience with K awards the following:

Just to confirm that the 8% indirect costs allowance is in addition to the salary and $50k research support and not inclusive. 

If we have a consortium on the project, they too are limited to the 8% indirect cost rate.

The 8% indirect says it’s modified total direct (exclusive of tuition, fees and equipment) but it doesn’t say consortium; will it allow us the primary site to charge indirect on the consortium’s total costs?
