Brief Description of
Duties: Assist State University
of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) faculty and
staff in the administration of sponsored research contracts and grants:
Development of project budgets and the preparation of proposal application
materials; coordinate the submission of faculty research proposals; assist
faculty and staff with post-award financial and contract administration
including account management, expenditure monitoring and other issues related
to award compliance.
Qualifications: B.S. in business-related field required, B.S. in
Business Administration preferred; 2 years of related business experience
required (e.g. proposal/contract preparation/administration), experience in a
sponsored program environment with Oracle Business systems preferred;
proficiency with information systems and spreadsheet software; service oriented
individual with the ability and desire to work within a team approach and excel
in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment where continual multitasking and
the ability to problem solve are essential to success.
