There is no S2S connection.

Peoplesoft is the only grant module Emory uses.  It has been a challenge, however, it is very useful in getting proposals routed quicker with the electronic signaturefeature.  It also allows you to run various queries and reports that are account specific.  Emory completed a Peoplesoft roll out across the board which encompassed not only the grants module, but finance as well.. Our AR/AP are handled through this system as well as setting up and maintaining vendors.

Tracy,

Are you using only the PeopleSoft grants module for your research activities or are you augmenting it with other data outside PeopleSoft?  My understanding from the institutions we've spoken with is they are all employing some form of "shadow" system in addition to PeopleSoft.  If you've determined how to make it your primary and only system I think that would be exciting news and people would likely want to know more about how you accomplished it, I know we would.
