We
are currently seeking a Grant Administration
Manager for our Grant Research team in New York City.
Overview:
S/he manages Post-Award functions at JDRF Research Department as well as
assigned grants portfolio, including maintenance and monitoring of the grants
management systems for data accuracy and integrity. Additionally:
Contribute to innovative solutions to increase Research Department
efficiencies. Provide Administrative and Operational leadership.
Support Research Department Infrastructure by participating in several
committees/task forces. Manage Yearly audits and insurance that internal
controls are in place to be in daily audit compliance. Support in
developing IT tools as needed. Other assigned projects as per
supervisor. Support Sr. Management in maintaining a high performance
organization.
Specific
responsibilities:
- Accurate and on-time management of assigned
grant portfolio.
- Assist in supporting the department's daily
operations.
- Provides training and guidance to new and
current members of the grant team to maintain a high performance
organization.
- Team Player to contribute in increasing
efficiencies through out the organization and in special projects.
- Operate with great latitude for independent
judgment and initiative. Proactive participation in meetings, providing
input and suggestions, identifying bottlenecks and solutions.
- Ensure that the confidentiality and security
of all information under his/her supervision is maintained, and that it
follows foundation's policy.
- Interface with applicants, reviewers,
awardees, JDRF staff and chapters and affiliates to provide requested
information and answer inquires to support a donor-centric organization
- Manage/oversight of Payment Schedule.
- Liaison with Finance, Audit and Major-Donor to
support department operations.
- Manage Post- Award Team as assigned.
- Maintain, Upgrade and continuously update the

- Update the Department Quarterly Reports,
Monthly Deliverables and monthly reports
Requirements:
- BS and 5-7 years of professional experience
- MA/S, MPA with 5 year of non-for-profit
experience
- 4-7 years of Grants Post-Award Management
Experience
- Professional demeanor
- Excellent Technical Skills: Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word and Access (desirable)
- Knowledge of relational databases
- 4 - 7 years of Project Management Experience
- 4 - 7 years of Customer Service Experience
- Knowledge of OMB Circulars
