Centrally located in the Longwood Medical area of Boston , the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is one of the foremost academic cancer research institutes in the country. Job Summary
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Grants Manager to provide professional support and assistance to Principal Investigators by researching, preparing, submitting and monitoring externally funded grants, contracts and cooperative agreements that support and complement the mission of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He/she will develop budgets for proposals for external funds; plans, maintains and monitors budgets for the Division; provides post-award orientations/training to project directors and key administrators regarding grants management of externally funded programs. The Grant Manager will monitor the distribution of funds and stewardship of grants and gifts, and will work with the Grants and Contracts Office to ensure compliance and reporting requirements of externally funded programs in accordance with general and specific funding source and district regulations, policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred as well as at least three years of pre-and/or post award grants management experience. Administrative and/or financial experience working in a business, medical or scientific research setting.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours
