Our Research Administration office is transitioning to the PeopleSoft Grants Suite of modules. I would like to ask a question to other institutions currently utilizing this system. Moving from ACCESS to PS, there are many business process changes that will be occurring. One, very important change, will be our internal routing forms.

Our institution still routes in ‘paper’ as we are not quite to the place where electronic routing is acceptable, however, I foresee that being something that will come to fruition in the future.

We’re trying to focus our routing forms to fulfill the requirements of PS, our office, and other central offices on campus while maintaining a big picture view of electronic routing in the future so as not to have to overhaul the forms again in the near future.

Any institutions that have dealt with change in forms due to PS use and still routing in paper, can you provide a web link to your current forms (if they are housed online) so that I can browse through them to see what you’re doing?

Any success or failure stories related to routing forms would also be very educational, I’m sure.

Thank You!

Crystal
