Job
Description: Works to proactively and effectively promote the responsible
conduct of research across the Indiana University system and its campuses.
Works independently with the IU research community on all campuses –
researchers, the IU Office of Research Administration, and compliance
committees – to facilitate research conducted and administered at IU with the
highest ethical principles, policies, procedures, and practices. Develops a
process to anticipate, identify, and address ethical issues important to
research at IU and foster an environment for research. Leads and participates
in the review, assessment, development, implementation, and ongoing coordination
of a comprehensive research and research-compliance education program as well
as university policies related to RCR including grants administration and
research compliance. |
Qualifications: Master's degree
and five years experience in responsible conduct of research-related
principles, policy, and education; research compliance-related principles,
policy, education, and operations; and program development and delivery
within research/university setting required. Must be able to work with little
direction and think strategically. Resume and cover letter required. |
