We also received this error, but of course never got an email
from grants.gov, we found the information in applicant tracking. We were
going to take a process of elimination approach to see if we could see where
the error came from. Our first step was to simply resend it and see what
happens. It went through all the way to NIH no problems. I
believe this another error that you can add to the list of errors that makes no
sense. However, it is does not go on the list of errors to ignore, you do
have to resubmit.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Weird Grants.gov error - not a valid value for
"decimal"
Has anyone seen this kind
of error come back from grants.gov and do you have an idea what it means
and how to correct it.
This message came back
after it has passed grants.gov - it's a resubmission after a previous error
that passed grants.gov, but came back with an NIH error.
THANKS -
