Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is the oldest and largest cancer
center in the United Stales. It is designated by the National Cancer Institute as a
Comprehensive Cancer Center and is located in New York City in the heart of a thriving
research corridor that includes Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medical Center.
MSKCC is currently seeking a Senior Applications Analyst in the Research Administration Department
at our 633 Third Ave., NYC location. The candidate will support the IT requirements
of Research and Technology Management. Responsibilities include designing Cognos 8 reports,
.Net applications, SQL queries and stored procedures with emphasis on budget and financial modeling.
The position requires:
· Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. Masters degree or certification preferred.
· 3-5 years .Net web application development (MS Visual Studio, ASP and .NET, JavaScript and VB Script).
· 5-8 years report writing and data mining experience with financial accounting systems. (IBM Cognos 8BI, MS Reporting Services, Excel spreadsheets, VBA, data connections and pivot tables).
· MS SQL Server, Oracle Transact SQL and basic Oracle querying skills
· Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR, experience working with grants and contract applications and Jboss, Java preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Monday-Friday, Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM.
