Syracuse University’s Office of Sponsored Programs has an immediate opening for a Research Administrator. This position, which offers outstanding professional growth and development opportunities, requires strong and proven research administrative and written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will possess a high level of autonomy, self-directedness and detail orientation.  Although we prefer direct experience in grants administration in an institution of higher education, we are willing to consider talented, creative, organized and deadline oriented professionals with solid research administrative experience in other areas.  A B.S. or B.A. is preferred.

The successful candidate will thrive in a deadline-driven and customer-service oriented environment.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

For a position description and online application instructions, please go to www.sujobopps.com, (#024661). Cover letter, resume and a list of three professional references must be attached. The review of applications begins immediately and the search will remain open until the position is filled, however first consideration will be given to applications submitted by November 18, 2008.
